I book hotels for the doctors and staff that work for us in Illinois quite frequently. A lot of times they stay at a Choice hotel (days inn, comfort inn, ect), who I have a "rewards" number with. I book the hotel in the doctors name, and pay for it with my boss' credit card. When I book they ask for a rewards number.
The question is: do you think I could enter my rewards number there to rack up "points" even though I'm not the one staying/not using my credit card?
(I currently don't enter a rewards number for my boss or for the doctors/staff, and you have to enter the number at time of registration or it doesnt count, so the the doctors/staff couldn't show their rewards number at the desk to reep the benefits)
Let me know your thoughts... :-)
This is public in case anyone knows anyone in the hotel business who could answer better.
